Support Go South
Go South is entirely volunteer-run. We rely on the generosity of our friends and supporters to make our summer fellowship free to our partner organizations and financially accessible to our fellows.
Why donate?
Go South seeks to make our fellowship financially accessible to all. We provide fellows to our partner nonprofits at no cost to the nonprofit. We also seek to compensate fellows for their summer work.
Currently, our fellow are primarily funded by summer grants available through their universities, including the Summer Experience Award at Yale. But these resources are finite, and not available to all applicants. Go South aims to raise enough money to fully fund at least 15 students per summer.

Your gift of $1,000 will fund one fellow for 2 weeks
Go South also plans to expand to more campuses and host cities in future years. There are multiple costs associated with these expansion plans — including subsidizing cultural programming, summer activities, and transportation costs for our fellows, and hiring staff members to manage day-to-day operations. Your gift of any size will help us carry out our mission by putting these plans within reach.

Go South is a fiscally sponsored project of the Yale Alumni Nonprofit Alliance, a Section 501(c)(3) public charity. Donations to Go South are tax-deductible.
